Ich habe das Lied während des Lockdowns für meine Freundin geschrieben, eigentlich in der Intimität unserer Wohnung, weil ich ihr sagen wollte, wie sehr ich mich darauf freue, wieder mit ihr weggehen zu können.
Es war also ursprünglich gedacht als ein Lied für einen ganz besonderen Menschen.
Als das Lied fertig war, haben wir bemerkt, dass es eine sehr positive Message hat und dass es vielen Menschen so geht wie uns.
Die Message vom Song ist also keine Rebellion gegen die Corona-Maßnahmen oder so, sondern wirklich viel mehr eine Erinnerung, wie schön die Vorfreude sein kann, unsere Geliebten wieder auf einen besonderen Abend einladen zu können.
Am Tag, als ich entschieden habe, den Song endlich fertig zu schreiben, hab ich tatsächlich und ganz unerwartet einen Anruf von einer unbekannten Nummer erhalten. - Ich hab abgehoben und es war Nadine Beiler, die auf der anderen Leitung war.
Sie fragte mich, ob wir uns treffen wollen um gemeinsam Musik zu machen, weil sie davor schon von meiner Arbeit gehört hat. Wir haben uns also getroffen, ich hab ihr von diesem Song erzählt und sie hat ihn direkt gesungen.
Es war dieses besondere Etwas, das dem Song noch gefehlt hat.
Daraufhin haben sich viele Musiker für das Projekt interessiert und auch gleich mitgemacht. Wir haben mit David Halaz einen tollen Drummer an Board, wir haben Sebastian Grimus am Saxophon und Johnny Falter als grandiosen Gitarristen.
Da haben wir auch bemerkt, dass dieses Lied wirklich viel bedeutet. Und dass diese Positivität jetzt gebraucht wird.
Deswegen haben wir auch dieses Fundraising Projekt gestartet, um den Leuten die Möglichkeit zu geben, ein Teil von dieser Positivität und Vorfreude zu sein.
